Oh my god.
I’ve been to a lot anime conventions, and I’ve been to NYCC. And not to bash anime or anything, because I do enjoy some of it, but I’ve encountered a lot of crazy people at anime conventions. I have yet to meet a completely insane comic fan.
^^^ I have to totally agree with this comment ^^^. I mean, I still go to the occasional Anime con, just cause it’s a con, it’s fun, and I go with friends. But never once at a comic con have I been on guard for someone tackling me. I got tackled, from behind, by 5 teen girls at an anime con squealing in joy because of my costume. If there hadn’t been someone with me to help catch me, I would have fallen flat on my face.
I mean, yay, I’m flattered you like the character I’m dressing up with, but dear lord, I’m not superman and I can barely support one person tackle hugging me. /ranty rant rant/
